Rye Bar and Restaurant is a revitalized establishment that pays homage to its predecessor, Horigan’s. Horigan’s was a beloved Irish pub that served the Elmira community for many years. In 2019, Charlie Hunter purchased the old pub and reopened its doors under the new name, Rye Bar and Restaurant. The renovation aimed to preserve the charm and community spirit of Horigan’s while introducing a refreshed atmosphere and menu. Today, Rye Bar and Restaurant offers a welcoming space for friends and family to enjoy delicious food and drinks, continuing the legacy of its historic location.
